Spirit West United Church is a vibrant growing church in West Edmonton. We consider ourselves to be a church for the open minded and open hearted.

We strive to be a dynamic, inclusive and forward looking church that is actively seeking to find new ways of exploring and expressing spiritual insight and experience for the 21st Century within a Christian context. We aim to be a church where it is safe to ask questions, express one's doubts, and seek answers. Our Core Values describe this in more detail.

Many people have “two places” where they live out their life – their work and their home. We are endeavoring to create a “Third Place” where people can feel comfortable and safe, and find friendship, conversation and opportunities for personal growth. This we do within a richly diverse company of people who are willing to journey together as we make sense of the claim of Jesus Christ upon our lives in a complex world.
