HELPING in EDMONTON- Your OUTREACH committee is asking you to respond to the needs of so many folks in Edmonton, who are seriously challenged by rising costs, low income (if any at all) and overall need for family nutrition and support. Would you consider bringing 1-2 small, non-perishable food items EVERY WEEK from Sept. 6 — October 11 to support these folks? Suggested donations could be a can of soup, a package of macaroni, a box of cereal, a jar of spaghetti sauce, a can of tuna, a jar of peanut butter, the list goes on… whatever you bring will be appreciated! The foodstuffs will be collected weekly — we will watch them grow and then have the pleasure of delivering them to our local food bank for fair distribution. Let’s see how much we can collect by Thanksgiving Sunday! Many thanks for your support!
